GOT THE SILVER CROSS!!

Picked up the Silver Cross from GPC on Friday, and me and mum scrubbed it on Saturday! With SILs three boys being in it, it was a wee bit scratched too, so ordered the touch up paint online, and done that on Sunday - it looks fab!!! And yes, that does mean I have three prams in the house now!!!

Had MW appointment today, looks like the wee man is lying diagonally across my tum, using the fibroid as a pillow, lol!!! Likes his comfort!!

Also, went to Next Clearance with my mum, and got fab wee shoes reduced to £2.00!! Mum insisted on buying them to put on with the wee fella's Christmas! Then we saw this gorgeous wee fluffy suit, that would make Christopher look like a wee teddy - only £2.00 too!! Mum of course insisted on buying that too!!

SIS IS HAVING A GIRL!!!

Sis went for a sexing scan on Thursday night - she's having a girl!! Mum is over the moon, means she's having one of each!!

Lovin being pregnant at same time as sis. We can share shopping tips, she calls me asking what food she can eat, we compare symptoms - it's great.

We went to Next Clearance and she got loads of gorgeous stuff. I'm glad I'm not having a girl - I would be skint!! Bad enough buying for the wee fella, but the girls stuff is soooo cute, I would find it seriously hard to resist! Anyway, told her to go to George Asda for the basic babygros and stuff, so she nipped in there this morning before work.

On a sad note - it was Nana's funeral on Friday, huge turn out - loads of staff from the home, which I thought was very touching. They were all really upset. It was actually a nice day too, which was so nice. I haven't been to many funerals, but they've all seemed to be on really rotten days, so this made a nice change.

NANA'S AWAY

Poor wee nana's away. She died yesterday at 11.50am. My mum, and two aunts were with her. She nearly went on us a couple of times, with everyone being called to the home, only for her to rally round again! Dad said she had more come backs than Frank Sinatra!!

At least she's at peace now. It was horrible to watch her faid away to less than a shadow of her former self. She was a very proud, strong willed woman, and I know she wouldn't have liked what she had become in her last year. The staff in the home are all, so upset. You need a big heart to do that job - they certainly don't do it for the money! They loved nana, because when she compos mentis, they had a great banter with her - she could be really quite cheeky!!

We also had a scan yesterday morning and an appointment with the doctor. Wee fella was jumping around mad - must have been the Crunchy Nut Cornflakes - and all his measurements were perfect. He's 2lb 14oz!! Because of the way my tum has stretched fibroid is now up on the left side, leaving the cervix clear. However, due to it's size, it could prevent my cervix from contracting, so we still have no idea whether it will be a natural birth or a c section. Also wee man is breech, and he might not have enough room to turn! Back again in a few weeks for another scan to check.

MY WEE NANA

Not ignoring you, not getting online much.

My wee nana is not good and we're expecting a call any day now from the home to say she's gone.

She's been in a home for 2 1/2 yrs now, she's really bad with dementia and has had lots of mini strokes. She had a seizure mid week, and I didn't get home till after ten on Thursday as we really didn't expect her to last the night. But she's a tough old thing and is still hanging in there.

Sometimes you could have full blown conversations with her, but mostly she didn't know what day it was, which was probably a blessing. My last conversation was on Tuesday, about the baby. I told her it would be Grace or Christopher, she said Christopher was lovely and asked if he would get his full name!!
