HOLY ****!

Helen from GRI called yesterday afternoon, "we've had a cancellation, how do you feel about starting your treatment now?" Couldn't believe it! She checked the calendar, working out when my period had come etc, then asked if I could come in this morning for my prostap injection! Discussing it with DH when I came off the phone, he said what I was thinking - let's get it over with - which probably sounds awful, but everything you make plans for goes on hold. "If we get pregnant we'll.... If we don't get pregnant then...." To have the cycle start so quickly, without you having time to psych yourself up, is actually a blessing!

So, as you can imagine, I'm sitting typing this with my head absolutely buzzing!

We're in the middle of decorating the living room, which has to be done in time for CJ's wee birthday do. I've still got loads of stuff to buy in his party, and obviously Christmas is coming. I need to get booked in for my acupuncture too, and CJ is starting nursery the week after his birthday - it's all happening at once!

Last year we had everybody here for Christmas, but with egg collection on the 14th December, that means the test day will be between Christmas and New Year. Not sure how I could cope being the hostess with a vision of peesticks dancing in my head (as opposed to sugar plums you understand, lol)!

My dearest friend Mary is waiting to start FET after over stimulating again. How fantastic would it be if we both got pregnant!
